J&J Music Presents: The return of Water Babies! Water Babies took the summer off, but are ramping it back up for Fall with a show at The Musicquarium at The Triple Door on Friday, September 12th. Your favorite Spontaneous Funksters will be tearing it up from 9pm-midnight with their signature brand of improvised, booty-shakin' funk. Jason Parker (trumpet & flugelhorn) and Josh Rawlings (Rhodes, organ, vocals) will be joined by Katrina Wible (vocals), Nate Omdal (bass) and Donovan Pfeifer (drums) to kick out the jams and get yer toes a-tappin' and your tails a-waggin'. Think Miles Davis meets The Meters with a dash of Medeski, Martin & Wood and you'll get the idea. And best of all...no cover charge!
