!!**BONKERS 1-YEAR ANNIVERSARY BLOWOUT!!! JERRY ABSTRACT, JACOB LONDON, + more!!!!!!! BONKERS! is Seattle's source of fresh, hot braindance, also known as "not-your-average such and such". Our first show was at the ill-fated nastyfest known as Club Sugar on Sept. 5th, 2007.

1 year later, after dozens of guests and a hearty helping of shows under our belt, we bring another special night your way. Its our birthday and we're gonna do how we please!

Oh lordy, where do we even start with such an awesome night??? Well, how about the guests-

JACOB LONDON special one-time all-original gabba (y'know, "gabber") set!!!!!!!!! Jacob London (aka Bob and Dave) are known throughout the dance music world not only because they have put out dozens of records on such labels as Derrick May's Classic imprint or their very own squid:records, not only because they fly around to play huge parties in other countries and such, but precisely because in the 16 years they've been creating music together they have mastered the ancient art of making the dancefloor go "fuckin' crayzee!". Well, that signature style that you all love from them flies out the window as these boys bring forth a one-time all-original all-GABBA set of their very own tunes, remixed by themselves, and apologizing to no one. As grandma used to say, suck on that.

JERRY ABSTRACT valiantly returns from hiding!!!!! Yes, an undisputed Seattle treasure and one of the best DJs ever to bless our fair city, Jerry Abstract has been painfully absent for the last half a year. Was he hunting the back-plains of Mongolia for long-lost musical knowledge? Was he hiding in a cabin in the backwoods of Montana on top of some huge mountain, fighting the godawful weather? Was he courageously fighting dancefloor malaise through other discrete methods? Who the hell cares? He's back on Sept 4th and he's out for blood on the dancefloor.

DJ WD4D performs his live original tracks!!!! "I (WD4D) will be playing a sneak preview of my new album (mixed/constructed live)." He means it too! Although you may know his name and signature sound because he's quite possibly Seattle's best hip hop DJ and opens up shows for names like KRS-1, GZA, Lyrics Born, Pigeon John and so forth, you may not know what a talented producer and musician the man is as well!!!! WD4D knows not only dance-schematics but how to make beautiful melodies, big beats, and a keen sense of song.

RED PONY brings her amazing production and DJ skills together! Rebecca West's self-written bio- "My mission in life is to create more beauty in this world through better sound and imagery. As a deejay, I have been spinning records for dancefloors, lounges, radio and performing with various live electronic acts since 1996. My love of travel and adventure has taken me around the globe, performing across the U.S. as well as in Germany, France, Spain, Mexico and most recently, China." Well, we love her original tunes and her lovely vibes and just HAD to have her back for another set.

POWER MITTEN takes on TEAM BONKERS! Debuting at the anniversary show is POWER MITTEN, a two-man team of live improvised dance music. Utilizing drum machines, samplers, synths, live instrumentation and on-the-fly looping, POWER MITTEN will be a mind-blowingly odd and yet dance-able spectacle to behold! Throw in the residents of Bonkers! and you have a dream army, hellbent on destroying the enemy of dancefloor malaise!
