The Teaching Bomb Squad
On Wednesday, Sept 3rd, The Teaching Bomb Squad will appear at Tula’s Jazz Club in Seattle from 8pm - midnight. The members of The Teaching (Josh Rawlings Rhodes, Evan Flory-Barnes bass, Jeremy Jones drums) will be augmented by Michele Khazak (vocals), Scott Morning (trumpet), Art Brown (alto), and Lalo Bello (percussion). Those who have attended The Hang at Lo Fi are familiar with the revelry that unfolds when additional instruments join The Teaching for celebratory musical rites. Laughter, exultation, and activation of the tear ducts are often elicited in listeners and musicians alike. “Bomb Squad” refers to the powerful vibratory force of joy-infused music as it explodes on your consciousness, awakening inspiration and soothing your nervous system.
