Back to School Enrichment for the Animals
As kids return to school, Woodland Park Zoo's animals receive back to school-themed treats. Orangutans, bears, gorillas, pigs and more receive sack lunches, textbooks and more. Additionally, the elephant and raptor keepers demonstrate some of the operant training techniques they use to teach the animals new behaviors.
