dB Festival 2008: DJ Lounge: Oi Vay!

Few people have done more to keep the dance scene alive and sweaty in Seattle than music-makers D’Jeronimo, Eddie, and Struggle, today known collectively in the electronic arts community as Oi Vay. Keeping the get-down ethos of the Capitol Hill neighborhood alive and bouncing for years with seemingly limitless energy, this crew has the passion for creation only understood by fellow music maniacs. Oi Vay makes dance floor magic with beats ranging from more melodic house to moving minimal techno, everything in between, and a few surprises. Oi Vay means heady dance music, organically made and lovingly dropped for an always-present crowd of partiers who quite simply, came to get down. No pretense, no pushing, no pandering- just straight up music for people who love to dance.
