\nBLVD is a three-piece band that f
 uses live instrumentation with electronic production to create a truly uniq
 ue sound. Combining elements of house\, breakbeat and rock\, their high-ene
 rgy sound is perfect for the dance floor. Drummer Dylan McIntosh and Bassis
 t Tripp Bains lock into deep subwoofing grooves\, mostly of the house varie
 ty\, slower to wallow in funk or faster to slip into psychedelic space. Ele
 ctric guitarist Curtis Sloane adds tight melodic progressions and looping p
 atterns\, layering and warping himself electronically. All three improvise 
 just enough to lead crowds through unexpected segues and hands-in-the-air c
 rescendos. As a trio\, they rely heavily on their production skills in the 
 studio. By creating samples and synth lines they combine an organic live so
 und with the repetition and melody of electronic music.

\nSouleye\, a C
 olorado based conscious-wordsmith MC\, believes that music is a true healin
 g art. His choice to perform freestyle and completely improvisational lyric
 s allows the present audience to participate and be involved in the creatio
 n and collective energy of the music. Souleye also brings in a new fresh fu
 sion of written songs. Much like life\, each performance is genuine and can
  never be replicated. Unafraid to challenge paradigms\, Souleye has been br
 idging gaps and crossing paths between Hip Hop\, Drum & Bass\, Electronic\,
  Bluegrass and FUNK.
