Kozy Kino - Czech Dream (Český sen)

Upon first seeing Český sen (Czech Dream) it seems an impossible thing... No government would ever give a couple young men a bunch of money to deceive their fellow citizens with a slick, professional advertising campaign, would they? A stupid question since it happens all the time... with quite sinister results e.g. global war, Homeland Security, Paris Hilton). In this case, however, Czech film students Vít Klusák and Filip Remunda create a fictitious 'hypermarket' and hire professional liars and magicians (advertising and PR agencies) to pump up the Czech public with consumeristic hope and lust. That they somehow film it all is impressive, but that they actually pull it off is simply unbelievable.
