Roky Erickson is an American singer, songwriter, harmonica player and guitarist from Texas. He was a founding member of the 13th Floor Elevators. One of rock and roll's most famous cult figures and burnouts, Erickson is perhaps as well-known for his erratic personal behavior as for his musical talents.

Why does "erratic behavior" and "Texas" always seem to go together? Who knows, but I guess Roky Erickson does it well if he is a cult figure!
