Lying. Cheating. Cross-dressing. The things we'll do for love. In the light of laughter, the music of Rossini shines bright, even when set in the Dark Ages. The beautiful Countess Adele's brother is away at war, so the innocent girl is alone with her ladies inside her castle. To gain entrance, the always-amorous Count Ory disguises himself and his men as nuns.
