Artopia
Georgetown's Artopia is a collaborative grassroots celebration of emerging and established artists and communities. This annual event takes place in Seattle's historic Georgetown neighborhood on June 28th.
This event is alive with hundreds of diverse visual and performing arts ranging from opera to hip hop, from graffiti to fine art, from modern dance to circus performers. We've got family-friendly carnival games, power tool races, street buskers, gymnastics, film, music, and so much more.
Artopia takes over the streets of Georgetown, the parking lots, art lofts, and the warehouses including the historic Rainier Brewhouse. Artopia is an urban arts adventure and one hell of a sensory experience. Don't miss it!

Artopia
Georgetown has a secret event that it doesn't want to be a secret. It's called Artopia. I know very little about it, but I've been approached by someone who insists that if I miss this event, I might as well move to Siberia. Well she didn't say that but she did recommend I attend. She made it sound like it was worth my time. So I'm going to check it out.
I mean Georgetown afterall is the home of the scooter repair shop, the Nine Pound Hammer, The Stella Pizza...you can dig it.
