A quintessential ambassador to the explosive UK dubstep scene, London’s Kode9 has done more to propel the notoriety and influence of the genre than any other producer currently at work. As an artist he has issued numerous groundbreaking singles on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex imprint, classic dubstep outlets like Tempa, and his very own Hyperdub label, the home of his critically acclaimed 2006 debut album with The Spaceape, Memories of the Future. As the founder of Hyperdub, he has cultivated a roster that includes the infamous Burial. Kode9 is following up a monumental year of Hyperdub releases and various tours/festival appearances (i.e. MUTEK, Synch Festival, Fabric, Sonar, etc).

If you are a total raving lunatic for the dubstep like me, you gotta come out for Kode9, the London Godfatherfunkmasterbassfreakazoidmother
If you kind of like dubstep but have not completely gone to the dark side yet, you gotta come out- though you might want to say bye to your mom first and pack an extra pair of socks
And if you think dubstep is music for bass sluts who ate Special K for breakfast, you gotta come out and give yourself over to Kode9, your brain will be sculpted anew and your limbs will flail about you like an elfish jester with dirty boots.
