I love Squeeze! Now, if only I could see them at a small pub in England, rather than a $40 show at the Showbox. Those 40 dollars must buy you 5 encores of "Pulling Mussels."

I think I saw Squeeze while you were inutero. They played at the then very divey Showbox on one of those Tues. night $1.98 shows --yup a dollar ninety eight. They had some sort of very fancy lights inside their big boxy '80s suits that they highlighted by turning off the house lights during the encore and glowed all neon sherbet colors. During this time you could buy allstar sneakers for less than 5 bucks and the cops were only interested in people that actually caused trouble, but I did not walk to school in 6 feet of snow up hill both ways.
