DJ Icey & The Staxx Brothers

USC, Kaos Theory, and Housewreckin Productions, is proud to present DJ Icey’s much anticipated return to Seattle at Free.BASS, Trinity’s hot new Thursday night. Free.BASS continues its conquest with yet another unprecedented bill; booking one of the world’s greatest DJs, with the region’s hottest live act, The Staxx Brothers, for no cover on Thursday May 22nd at Trinity Night Club (111 Yesler Way, Seattle, WA 98104).

DJ Icey, still the undisputed kings of Funky Breaks and one of the most popular and influential DJs of his generation is back in Seattle after last September’s sold out night at The Showbox. Judging from immediate buzz and no price of admission, organizers recommend entry before 9pm, for space is limited.

DJ Icey is also sharing the stage with resident Free.BASS DJs KREEPER & 3MOTIONZ (Housewreckin, Breakbeat Ninjas, Qool).

The Staxx Brothers (myspace.com/thestaxxbrothers), are a Seattle hip hop & hard ass soul band, riding high off their recent booking at Bumbershoot & rave reviews behind their acclaimed debut album, The 12th Street Blues. Driven by their dynamic live show that can be described as nothing short of kinetic, this bill recalls those genre smashing days when Jurassic 5 & RUN DMC once rocked the Rave scene.
