Ooh-La-La Fashion in Seattle
And I am not talking about what usually passes as style in this town: jeans rolled up past the ankles, REI raincoat, and perma-I'm too cool hipster face. Seattle's Fashion Group International Spring Fling at the Waterfront Seafood Grill will showcase some of the best and most beautiful local jewelry, clothing, and accessories. And did I mention the cocktails, lovely women, great view of the Bay and delicious hors d'oeuvres? It will be a night of fun, fashion, and frivolity, Seattle weather be damned.

Designing Women!
I was really very impressed by the quality of work and design on display at the Seattle Fashion Group's International Spring Fling. There was quite a variety of goods, lots of sparkly jewelry (do they know women or what?), scented candles/massage wax, silk and wool clothing, and paintings. The women behind the curtains were very interested to promote their products, and the raffle and auction went off smoothly, though I was surprised to see as one auction item $500 worth of Botox. Wow. Overall it was nice to see that "Seattle Fashion" isn't the oxymoron it often seems in our rainy town. Right on ladies! Keep designing and looking good!
