Consider Catering Your Thanksgiving Dinner: 6 LA Restaurants That Offer Thanksgiving To Go

Perhaps you’re short on time. Perhaps you’re domestically impaired. Maybe you just want to relax and watch the game or maybe you want to fool your guests into thinking you’re a wunderkind in the kitchen. No matter what your excuse is — no judgements here, I promise — you don’t have to slave away in the kitchen to prepare a hearty Thanksgiving meal. Some of the best restaurants in LA are at your service offering special Thanksgiving catering menus. Most will require you to pick up the food on (or by) Wednesday, but come Thursday morning you get to wake up to all the best holiday foods in your kitchen. It’s the next best thing to waking up to Mom’s turkey in the oven. Now that’s something to be thankful for!

Ammo
1155 N. Highland Ave., Los Angeles
Ammo’s Thanksgiving To-Go Menu features heirloom turkeys and organic farmer’s market-inspired side dishes, all of which are ordered a-la carte. Turkeys are available in two sizes: the small serves 8-10 ($115) while the large serves 10-12 ($130). Sides, salads and desserts range from $24-$36.
Order by noon on Monday, November 22 and pick up on Wednesday, November 24 between 2pm-6pm.

Clementine
1751 Ensley Ave., Los Angeles
While Clementine does not offer the main even (i,e., turkey) on their Thanksgiving Day catering menu, they do offer all the best savory sides and sinful desserts. Among their tasty treats are selections like Homemade Cranberry Sauce; Stuffing with Sage, Apples and Mushrooms; Cous Cous and six different pie flavors. Sides range from $32-$86, depending on size.
Order by Saturday, November 20 (or before they reach capacity); pick up on Tuesday, November 23 or Wendesday, November 24 by 7:30pm.

Fords Filling Station
9531 Culver Blvd., Culver City
This Culver City eatery offers a choice of three different turkeys ($180-$225) to feed 15-20 hungry guests. If you’re hosting slightly fewer people opt for the Roasted Turkey Breast ($65) which will feed 14-16. Add on sides like Scalloped Potatoes, Creamed Turnip or Winter Fruit Chutney to round out your meal. Pies are available in three different (but classic) flavors: Apple, Pecan, and Pumpkin ($30-$40 for 8 slices).
Place orders by Saturday, November 20; pick up on Wednesday, November 25 between 2pm-5pm or Thursday, November 25 between 10am-1pm.

Huckleberry
1014 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica
Huckleberry’s Thanksgiving catering menu offers three types of turkey (including turkey meatballs) and beef brisket as the main protein, each priced between $9.50-$12.50 per person. Also available are classic accompaniments like Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows and modern dishes like Butternut Squash, Spinach and Gruyere Bread Pudding. Rounding out the menu, of course, are the sweet treats. Teacakes, cookies and lemon bars, oh my!
Order by 5pm on Sunday, November 21; pick up by 5pm on Wednesday, November 24.

Joans on Third
8350 W. Third St., Los Angeles
This gourmet marketplace and cafe offers an array of crafted sides and desserts for T-day. Start with a 12-lb. turkey, which serves 6 ($75), and add on sides like Wild Mushroom Bread Pudding or Baby Brussel Sprouts Salad. Finish your order with an assortment of sweets. Prices range between $9-$45.

I think Clementine is the best from this list because of
their desserts. When there is a thanksgiving we just order food from fast food
or restaurants. I think my friends and I should try a catering service from
    Clementine.
