Cambridge Community Carnival in Orange November 6

Cambridge Community Carnival in Orange November 6

Schools need community support now more than ever.

With state and local budget woes and cuts to education, as well as teacher layoffs, public schools need all the help and support they can get from surrounding communities.  If you’re looking to enjoy the support you’re giving out, then join your neighbors in Orange and have fun at the Cambridge Community Carnival, supporting Cambridge Elementary School, November 6.

From 11 am until 2 pm on Saturday, November 6, you can help the Cambridge PTA and enjoy food, fun games, educational booths, and music from local Celtic group Sligo Rags.  Sligo Rags, which presents ‘Celtic Music for the Multitudes,’ performs regularly throughout southern California and has won numerous awards. The PTA is grateful for your suggested donation of $1 per person at the gate.
The theme for this year’s carnival is ‘Our Community, Our School, “Our Wonderful World.”‘ You do not have to have a child attending Cambridge Elementary School to come out and enjoy the Cambridge Community Carnival.  Any kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Your donations and purchases help support the activities of the Cambridge Elementary PTA during tough economic times, when school years have been cut and teachers are seeing larger and larger class sizes. Take the family to 425 N Cambridge St in Orange between 11am and 2pm November 6 and have fun for a great cause!
