On October 15, the Rumpus and Noise Pop present a night of music and comedy at the Rickshaw Stop. There are several reasons to attend: the music (John Wesley Harding, Terra Naomi, Jason Finazzo), the comedy (Mary Van Note, Nato Green, Kyle Kinane), the host (Stephen Elliott). But in case you’re not thoroughly convinced, we’ve decided to make things even more exciting with the chance to win a pair of free tickets.
See, this show kicks off CultureMob fave Terra Naomi’s national tour and we’d like to celebrate with the first CultureMob San Francisco ticket giveaway! Just comment here with your name, e-mail address, and your favorite Terra Naomi song and you’ll be entered into the contest. I will randomly select a winner this Friday, October 3.
If you’re not a Terra Naomi fan yet, it’s not too late to get hooked. I recommend her YouTube page, where she is currently releasing short songs in advance of all her upcoming US appearances. You can also listen to “You For Me,” the title track of her soon-to-be-released EP, here.
The October 15 show begins at the Rickshaw Stop at 8 p.m., but doors (and happy hour!) are at 7 p.m. Tickets are an affordable $10, in case you don’t win. Don’t let that stop you from entering, though! Live music, comedy, and a chance at free tickets—what could be better?
