Perhaps the silliest thing to come out of Kentucky since, well, that suspiciously addictive friend chicken, Lebowski Fest comes to Denver September 8-9. The Louisville, Kentucky-based fest is a celebration of the 1998 Coen Brothers’ cult classic “The Big Lebowski.”
The first evening will be a “Movie Party” at the Ogden with a showing of the film plus some performers. The next night, dress up as your favorite character and go knock down some pins at Bowl-ero in Lakewood. And lest you think this is just some oddball gathering of fanatics (“Achievers”) ala Rocky Horror Picture Show (which it probably is a little)… the fest has been given the seal of approval by the Dude himself, Jeff Bridges, who attended the LA festival.
