Mickey Lee

I am a DC-area native—born on Virginia soil, grew up mostly on the Maryland side, and went to college in the District.  Having dealt with obesity for 5 years, I overcame it as a teenager by evolving my diet and enthusiastically practicing martial arts. My two biggest passions in life are the martial arts (which I teach) and food.  My specific interests with regards to food include the following: cooking, dining out, and savoring; studying on nutrition and sourcing of ingredients; learning and sharing about a variety of foods/cuisines.
