This Saturday, October 16, 2010, from 12:00-4:00, Max’s Wine Dive will present the Austin Cellar Classic, a “grand wine tasting event” featuring over 75 wines from around the world, as well as samplings of Chef JP Lacoste’s finger-foods, including Nacho Mama Salmon and Brisket and Mozzarella Canapes.
$40 will get you admission into the event, as well as a souvenir tasting glass. Upgrade your admission to VIP status ($75), however, and you will not only get to sample from the already extensive “underground” wine tables, but also the 25 additional wines upstairs, as well as tastings from the VIP Menu, which includes andouille-stuffed mushrooms, country rabbit pate, and smoked prime rib sandwiches. Max’s will even throw in a $25 gift certificate.
