Taking Back Sunday
Biography
Five young men from Amityville, Long Island, NY have taken it upon themselves to spread the word that Amityville is not just another fabled town from a classic horror movie. For future generations, Amityville will be known as the small town that brought the world Taking Back Sunday. The band has an eclectic past, listing influences ranging from Modest Mouse, Lifetime and Fugazi to Quicksand, Nirvana and The Who. Their sound echoes bits and pieces of all of the aforementioned acts but they truly have a style that is 100% their own.
