Super Sonic Soul Pimps Had Fun (fri.3.28.08)
You know what? So did the packed house at the Nectar Lounge. The opening band Kissing Potion started out with some funk and some classic soul grooves to get the party started. The sound at the Nectar is impressive. It's a great room to hear live music. Kissing Potion then passed on the rest of the night to the triple "S" P's and those men came to get it! They looked like the seasoned vets of the stage and showed me what makes them so fun to watch. They truly love what they do. Johnnie, Zak, Wells and Kimo...give yourselves a hand and thanks a lot for letting culturemob's very own Chris Brummel on stage to play a little bass (posted some photos on the culturemob blog).
