New Kids On The Block
Biography
New Kids On The Block set out on tour for the first time in 15 years, thrilling the early 30's set all over the nation. Fans have been waiting for over a decade to froth at the mouth at the reunion of bandmates Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood.
Back in the day the NKOTB sold more than 70 million records and racked up back-to-back No. 1 albums with 1988's 'Hangin' Tough' and 1990's 'Step by Step,' 'You Got It (The Right Stuff),' 'Cover Girl,' 'Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time),' 'Hangin' Tough,' 'I'll Be Loving You,' 'Step By Step' and 'Tonight.' At that point the group really was new, and kids, though it has been debated hotly for years whether they were actually 'on the block' or not; and if so, exactly which block that was.
Everyone had their favorite New Kid; with the 2008 Reunion tour you can relive those tender and intense junior-high moments. Curl your bangs and pull that scrunchy tight; push down the slouch socks and tight-roll your jeans- NOW you got the right stuff.
