Robert Blatt

Robert Blatt is a composer, guitarist and improviser. He has written a variety of acoustic and electroacoustic music for solo, tape and chamber ensembles. Elements of time, timbre, form and memory play key roles in his musical thinking, with a current interest in the use of spectral analysis, algorithms and live computer processing. As an improviser, he works primarily with classical and electric guitars, which are commonly found in tandem with a diverse assortment of preparations and live electronic processing.
