What a Voice
Last night I went to the Moore to see Citizen Cope. Clarence Greenwood is one of the most understated musicians I've seen in a long time. I mean, compared to Greg Dulli, this guy is invisible. Invisible except his kick ass band of 2 keyboard players, bassist and drummer. The rhythm section was tight and worth seeing any day of the week.
The big thing about a Citizen Cope show though is listening to Clarence sing. The brother has soul. You can't learn what he has. You either have it or you don't. He's a modern day Bill Withers. Look it up!
