Biography

Library Science create music rooted in dub expanded through their love of samples, melody, and live manipulated effects. Live, the band has taught itself to play in a style that is usually created through recording techniques. This involved each member learning how to stop and start playing as if a recording engineer had just turned on or off that instrument's particular channel in the recording. There is also an important live video element in Library Science shows. Each song has specific video animations, which are triggered by laptop from stage. Library Science has two albums out through Happi Tyme Records, High Life Honey (2004) and The Chancellor (2007)
