The Glitch Mob
Biography
The Glitch Mob is the straight crunkest bunch of music masters this side of oblivion; their sets of the dirtiest, stickiest, nastiest, most insane bass licks make dancers' brains explode. EdiT, OOah, Kraddy and Boreta make up The Glitch Mob. WARNING: This music will change your life.
The Glitch Mob is dropping the filthy sounds of the future up and down the West Coast and around the globe, crunking out crowds left and right and conquering the bodies of all who stumble into the insane dance riot that is a Glitch Mob show. The boys have pulled music out of the headphones and put the emphasis back on the live musical experience, and the community that is created from the energy on the dance floor goes absolutely freaking bananas to their obese bass licks and cut-up vocals. You walk off the dance floor at a Glitch Mob show transformed; their music serves the social function of unification through movement, and there is no going back.
Defying all categorization and forcing writers to make up new words, the Glitch Mob rejects traditional instrumentation and instead relies on robotic bleeps, mechanical clicks and scratches, erroneously produced noises never found in nature and an army of bass, often overlaid with gritty and organic rap lyrics. The original beats of slam down as the sound of the future; their music symbolizes the failure of technology and the debunking of the modern myth that progress will save us all. Progress won’t save us- but dancing just might.

Once You Go Glitch...
If you want to hold on tight to your definition of music, if you like your reality JUST the way it is, if you don't like getting your feathers ruffled or your consciousness shifted and if you certainly don't want to walk off the dance floor at the end of the night like you just stepped out of a shower then I would NOT come to this show.
In fact you might want to avoid Fremont altogether because Friday night is going down like a concord jet full of hookers- and even that would not be half as filthy as the bass is going to be at Dirty Velvet! Glitch is the future of electronic music. I cannot possibly bump this night up anymore. Be there. Nectar will be left as only a pile of rubble by the rain of fire that OOah and Kraddy will bring. I will see you on the other side, and I'll be ringing out my clothes.

Say Goodbye to Fremont
Because all the Glitch Mob will leave behind after tonight's show will be a pile of rubble with the tip of a rocket sticking out the top. We will be buried somewhere beneath the shattered perspectives, baptized by the bass.
There will be dancing in the streets tonight!
