The B-52's
Biography
The B-52's were one of the first Athens, GA, bands to find success with the release of their self-titled album in 1979. Over the years, they're still going strong thanks to such great songs as 'Planet Claire,' 'Rock Lobster,' 'Strobelight' and of course, 'Love Shack.'

The B-52's Make Happy Dancing Music
Straight from the 80's when America was in denial about the perils of overconsumption, global warming, and the whole hell-in-a-handbasket thing (because we have our eyes open now), music was all about having a good time and dancing and pop! pop! bright colors and not giving a dang about anything. The B-52's fit right in. Forget your worries and go have a happy dancing time.

B52s Are Still Around
Where have they been? Roaming around the world? In the love shack? I don't know but if I was in seventh grade (and it was 1990) I would SO be at this concert, in a big fat blue beehive.
