Biography
TechN9ne first became fascinated with rap in 1985. In the intervening years, Tech N9ne has had a love-hate relationship with the music business. He's recorded with such legends as 2Pac, Eminem and Roger Troutman among others, all of whom have been impressed by his dazzling lyrical skills and supreme storytelling abilities. His work has also been featured on the critically acclaimed soundtracks for 'Gang Related' and 'Thicker Than Water.'

Tech N9ne has had a 'FTI' (F. the Industry) stance for over a decade, coming straight outta Kansas City with his flaming red hair and declaration that radio is dead. Radio IS dead- do you ever listen to it? Long before Myspace Tech N9ne used the internet to spread his music and encouraged the sharing of his songs by his fans. He knows that art is far more powerful than the dollar; in an interview with MTV News he states just that: "To move a sea of people with your words," he said, "something you thought up, something that you feel — when they feel the same way you feel because you triggered that in them, that's absolute power." And the Moore with absolutely be rompin' Thursday night.
