The Posies began making music in the '80s and have been fairly prolific in their rather long careers. Their sound features jangly, hook-laden pop anthems with an indie flare.
When your chest is free of your limiting ego,
Then you will see the ageless Beloved.
You can not see yourself without a mirror;
Look at the Beloved, He is the brightest mirror.
when someone emphatically disagrees with one's misleading, apodictic statement, play the ad-hominem game (oh, you must be a habitual party pooper!) and maybe throw in some patronizing poetry ta boot. jeez. LOL!
How totally lame.
Moreover, grumpy is not the new chic.
And I'm not being negative.
Just telling the truth.
That ok?
Or would you prefer that all commenters simply burst at the seams with phony positivism/compassion/etc - no matter how uninformed your posts?
I had no idea. Or are you just messin' around? I thought the poetry was brilliant! Thanks for the change of pace Al! Whimgrinder is awesome because he or she gives me a lot of attention. I like attention. It's sort of like having a fan.

Good to be a Posie
Ken Stringfellow and Jon Auer love to make music. Now with Matt Harris and Darius Minwalla, they continue to play and the people continue to follow them no matter where they are. Who can forget their album Dear 23 and those catchy pop hooks?
Well, it ain't over yet kiddies! They literally feed off their audience and it seems to compel them to write more songs and play a lot. Which is cool with me. You could not find a cooler event to see this weekend (5/17/08 at Neumos) if you tried.

It is infinitely annoying when the ill-informed speak in apodictic terms. It is a symptom of insecurity revolving around a lack of knowledge. Check ur facts, and then check ur head (your statement is indisputably inaccurate).
