Biography
Formed in 1983, NOFX pioneered the skate punk sound, moving from the Bay area to LA, recording an impressive number of full-length albums plus an assortment of EPs. Always energetic live shows and their self-deprecating humor have sustained their devoted fanbase for nearly 25 years.

NOFX Kicks It
When I was in high school all the really cool kids listened to NOFX; all the wannabe punkers and poseur skaters thought that maybe by listening to the real thing some of the genuine hipness would soak in, or rub off, or something. It didn't, of course; those kids probably have three of their own now and probably aren't quite so punker-slut, but NOFX has stayed true and stayed around. Their fans today are just as genuine and true; this show at Showbox SoDo will definitely be a ruckus. Wear shoes for jumping, kicking, and punk-rocking.
