Sol has toured with funk, R&B, roots, and blues legends all around the world and grew up gigging with Carolina bluesmen such as Guitar Gabriel, John Dee Holeman, and Cool John Ferguson. Sol's roots run deep into the blues but his unique versatility has allowed him to work with Latin, African, reggae, gospel, jazz, funk, R&B, and folk performers. Sol's latest CD Freedom moves from greasy delta grooves to deep reggae, and from stanky funk to soulful R&B and features King George (drummer for Corey Harris, Jah Works), Tim Smith (saxophonist for Squirrel Nut Zippers, Hobex), and other talented musicians.
