Andrew Bird Announces Summer Tour Dates – Free CD for New York

1 14

You may not know who Andrew Bird is, but anyone under the age of five probably does. Chicago based indie rocker Bird has appeared quite a few times on a popular (I’m assuming) Noggin show called Jack’s Big Music Show as the ever so charming “Dr Stringz.” As lucrative as being a doctor can be, Andrew Bird must go out and do other things – so Bird decided to hit the road this summer for a tour. The tour officially starts off at Bonnaroo on June 14th, and continues through October 4th at Austin City Limits. The full tour is listed below.

If you purchase tickets you will receive a free download of LIVE AT THE PRECIPICE, a never before released ten song record recorded last month.

Still not entirely sold on Bird? Have a listen/watch.

Wes is a Chicago based writer whose social circle makes fun of for "liking anything with a keyboard." He was also sheltered from The Beatles until college, and instead grew up listening to Guns N' Roses. They somehow still let him write about music despite these facts. You can find his other work at HEAVEmedia.

I only discovered Andrew Bird a month ago and I LOVE what I’ve heard. “Imitosis” is fabulous. He’s playing here in Seattle with The Decemberists and Blind Pilot. Should be a great concert.
