Affordable Fine Dining: SF Chefs Restaurant Week 2011

SF Chefs Restaurant Week (August 1-7, 2011) brings 7 days of affordable fine dining to San Francisco’s Union Square.

Need to give a jolt of excitement for your taste buds?  Take part in SF Chefs Restaurant Week from August 1-7, 2011.  San Francisco’s Union Square will be teeming with fine dining on a budget as restaurants participating in Restaurant Weeks will be offering 2-course lunches for $20 and/or 3-course dinners for $35.

To pare down from dozens of choices, I selected restaurants that are highly rated for their food as well as expensive during non-Restaurant Weeks.  The first criterion is to make your culinary experiences deliciously worthwhile, and the second criterion is to get the most bang-for-the-buck considering the value offered by the Restaurant Week promotion.  For evaluation of food, I looked for restaurants highly ranked food score in most recent edition of the Zagat Survey.

Below are the restaurants that met both criteria for Las Vegas Restaurant Week:
- Spruce (New American, Lunch)
- Silks (Californian, Lunch/Dinner)
